Deputies investigating shooting near San Leandro, 1 person injured

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (KGO) -- Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a shooting near San Leandro that injured a person in unincorporated Alameda County.

The shooting happened on Mono Avenue near Mateo Street in Ashland just after lunchtime.

The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Deputies are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
