SFPD officer hospitalized after being struck by car
A San Francisco police officer has been hospitalized after being struck by a car.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A San Francisco police officer is being treated for injuries after he was pinned between two cars while trying to arrest a car burglary suspect in the city's Ingleside District.

It started around midnight on Mirabel Avenue, officers responded to a call of a stolen car. The injured officer was pinned between two cars as the suspect tried to get away. The officer suffered a broken rib and a leg injury and is in stable condition. Police have detained several suspects.
