6 injured in rollover crash in San Francisco, children taken to hospital

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Six people were injured in a two-car crash near the intersection of Arguello Boulevard and Fulton Street in San Francisco Saturday, fire officials said.

Police issued a red alert, and are describing the crash as a rollover accident. Police say a Mercedes was driving recklessly before the crash. The driver was taken into police custody.

Four adults and two children were injured, according to Acting Rescue Captain Shannon Stabile of the San Francisco Fire Department. None of the injuries were life-threatening, Stabile said.

Drivers are being warned to avoid the area, and MUNI service there is being diverted.
