Trucks allowed back on Golden Gate Bridge

Trucks are once again being allowed to traverse a windblown Golden Gate Bridge this afternoon, according to a bridge spokeswoman.

Spokeswoman Mary Currie reported at about 3:15 p.m. that winds on the bridge had come down from 55 mph highs to near normal conditions, with gusts up to 22 mph and light to moderate rain by 2 p.m.
