A high wind advisory has been issued for the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge today, California Highway Patrol Officer A. Paulson said.

The advisory notifies motorcyclists and drivers of high-profile vehicles, such as campers and big rigs of conditions on the bridge between San Mateo and Alameda counties.

The advisory, issued at about 10 a.m., will continue until winds in the area subside, Paulson said.
