The program provides assistance to customers who lose power for extended periods of time because of weather or other events. Information about the program can be obtained by calling (888) 743-4743,or can go to target="_new">www.pge.com/customer_service/safety_net/.
Customers are also encouraged to call PG&E to report an outage if they have not already done so.
