Giti Karimpour is being held without bail after being convicted Friday on one charge of causing great bodily injury to a nine-month-old boy and another charge of conduct likely to cause injury on a 21-month-old.
The nine-month-old suffered a fracture femur while in the care of Karimpour last spring at her center in Cupertino called Giti's Family Day Care.
The 47-year-old Karimpour is due to be sentenced in February. She's facing a sentence ranging from probation to ten years in prison.
