State and federal agencies, the city of Oakland and local community partners are sponsoring the mortgage resource fair, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the third floor of Oakland City Hall at 1 Frank Ogawa Plaza.
The event will include credit counselors and major loan services that will offer help with loan modifications or other options.
Oakland's Neighborhood Law Corps will give a workshop on the rights of renters in foreclosed housing and Housing & Economic Rights Advocates will give a workshop on legal claims.
