Sheriff's deputies responded at about 2:40 a.m. to Highway 152 between Ferguson and Frazer Lake roads and located the body, believed to be a Hispanic male between 30 and 45 years old, Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office spokesman Don Morrissey said.
The cause of death has not been determined, but officials are not ruling out homicide, according to Morrissey.
"We're in the early stages of the investigation," Morrissey said.
Highway 152 between Ferguson and Frazer Lake roads closed after the body was found. There was no estimated time when the roadway will reopen, according to Morrissey.
