New solutions for chronic pain

45% of all Americans will seek care for persistent or chronic pain at some point in their lives. Women consistently report more chronic and severe sensory pain than men do, and non-gender specific health concerns. For example, irritable bowel syndrome, migraines, TMJ pain, urinary tract infections, arthritis, and Fibromyalgia, tend to hit women harder and more often, and are less easily relieved than in men. From the Bay Area Pain and Wellness Center in Los Gatos, is Dr. John Massey, and a graduate of his program, Ronda Meier, were here to tell us what can be done to help chronic pain.
