Suspects at large for SJ home invasion

SAN JOSE, CA

Overnight there was a call from one house about a home invasion. Several residents got outside safely. One person was inside tied up.

In a video there are adults and children coming out of the house with their hands up. The police asked them to come outside; they didn't know who was who.

Police made sure there were no suspects in the house. 911 got the call at 2:30 am. It took several hours before they could make entry. Inside, they found the male adult of that house tied up. He was not hurt, but police officers did have to untie him.

They didn't find any suspects inside, but during a backyard search, that's where they found one suspect -- who was positively identified by the family as one of the people that had entered with some weapons.

The motive for this is unclear -- whether the two parties knew each other at all. The neighbors were evacuated. Everything is okay, back to normal. The detectives are doing their investigation; they say there may be two more suspects still at large.
