The twin girls who used to be joined at the chest and abdomen -- and who were separated at Stanford -- are back home in Costa Rica.

Surgeons at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital separated the two-year olds in November. They flew home on Monday.

The girls had been in the Bay Area since July to prepare for the surgery. Doctors are thrilled with their progress.
