Pear Pie Pockets

Ingredients
- Have grown-up preheat oven to 375 °F.
- Unroll crescent dough into 4 rectangles by placing 2 triangles together and firmly pressing perforations.
- Place in an ungreased cookie sheet and keep in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- Chop 3/4 of pear and 1/2 an apple into small cubes (reserve remaining pear for garnishing the pockets).
- Place pears and apples place in a bowl along with currants, cinnamon, sugar and orange juice and combine.
- Place a heaping spoonful of mixture onto one side of your rectangle.
- Carefully fold dough over mix and press edges with fork to seal.
- Garnish pocket with thin pieces of pear cut into shapes and sprinkle with a pinch of sugar.
- Bake at 375°F for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool for 5 minutes. Share with friends and enjoy.
1 Pillsbury crescent roll
1 pear
1/2 apple
2 tsp currants
4 tsp orange juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp brown sugar
