A first grade teacher in San Mateo managed to teach her class Thursday, from thousands of miles away.

She's in the Bahamas for a first-hand study of the effects of climate change on coral reefs.
Deghi is one of ten teachers who received a Wells Fargo grant to study the effects of climate change on Earth.
Her trip to the Bahamas is part of winning the grant.
