Full service to the station returned by 9:21 a.m. after mechanical problems in the area halted service between the Fremont and Union City stations around 7:20 a.m., according to Johnson.
Johnson said trains are still a little backed up and passengers can expect delays of about 10 minutes.
Trains were expected to return to their regular intervals by 9:50 a.m.
The mechanical problems were caused by debris that occurred when boards that cover the transit agency's power system came loose, Johnson said.
