She's always dreamed about being a professional cheerleader, but does Janelle have what it takes to be a Raiderette?

We sent Janelle Wang on a mission to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a professional cheerleader. Twenty years after her highschool chearleading days, she got to see what it's really like to be a Raiderette when she attended one of their dance prep classes.

The Oakland Raiders are currently searching for enthusiastic and talented candidates for their renowned public relations and entertainment team, The Raiderettes. Do you think you have what it takes to make the cut? Preliminary auditions for the 2008 squad are set for Sunday, April 13 at the Oakland Airport Hilton Hotel on Hegenberger Road in Oakland. Check-in is at 8:00 a.m., followed by preliminary interviews.

Raiderette Prep Class

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (same time for each Saturday class)
Check-in begins at 8:30 AM
Bancroft Middle School

Cost: $25.00 per class
Payment: Cash, check or money order (make payable to OAKLAND RAIDERS)
Walk-ins are welcome - cash only, $25 per class
