Wine and food pairings:

Shrimp cocktail and oysters
Pinot grigio

Salad with blue cheese dressing
White wine

Summertime wines for an outdoor BBQ
Lighter pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, or pinot noir.

Steak
Big cabernet, pinot noir, or meritage.

Chocolate cake or berry dessert
