Therese Martin is the executive director of ArtSpan and has worked in the visual arts for 10 years.
She has consulted and lectured in this sector and has served on numerous boards of directors and on projects for the City of San Francisco and San Francisco Unified School Districts Visual and Performing Arts Office. Prior to nonprofit work she was a project manager in the publishing industry and art consultant.
She holds an MBA in Executive Business Administration from Golden Gate University and a BFA in Art History from the University of Kansas. She anticipates completing her Certificate in Fundraising Management (CFRM) in 2008 through Indiana University's Fundraising School.
She enjoys hiking, the arts, a good debate, word problems, crossword puzzles and sleeping in on weekends.
