Greek festival: A celebration of food and music

Celebrating its 36th year, the Oakland Greek Festival returns May 16, 17 and 18.

Festivities kick off with a special luncheon for the Bay Area business and civic community and local schools on Friday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The entrance fee is waived during those hours. For groups of ten or more, reservations are available by calling 510-531-3400 in advance.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $6. Admission is FREE on Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.. There is ample FREE PARKING and SHUTTLE SERVICE at the Mormon Temple, Cerebral Palsey Center, Head Royce School and Woodminster Theatre. PREMIUM PARKING will also be available in the new PARKING PAVILION for $10.
