7 tractor-trailers stolen in Long Beach

LONG BEACH The trailers reportedly all carried large coils of wrapped steel weighing several thousand pounds and worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Three of the trailers were found empty on Mission Mill Road near Workman Mill Road in an unincorporated part of Whittier.

Three other trailers were found in an undisclosed location, and one is still missing.

Anyone with information is urged to call the California Highway Patrol at (800) 835-5247.
