The man charged with firing the shots that paralyzed a 10-year-old Oakland boy during a piano lesson is the prime suspect in a second high profile crime.

The Oakland Tribune is reporting that 25-year-old jarred Adams has "made admissions linking him to State Senator Don Perata's carjacking last December.

Police also say they found Adams fingerprints in Perata's dodge charger, but no charges have been filed.

Adams is already accused of firing the stray bullets that crippled Christopher Rodriguez last January. That shooting took place about a mile from the scene of the Perata carjacking.
