2.2 quake strikes near the Geysers

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.2 struck at about 4:45 a.m. today in Sonoma County.

According to the USGS, the earthquake had a depth of 1.5 miles and was centered 2 miles north of the Geysers and 10 miles east of Cloverdale.
