Weekend street closures in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO

The North Beach Jazz Festival in Washington Square Park from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Sunday will close Union Street from Stockton Street to Columbus Avenue from 7 a.m. today through 9 p.m. Sunday, transit officials said.

The 9X Bayshore Express, 30 Stockton, 39 Coit and 45 Union/Stockton Muni lines will be affected by the festival.

A community block party from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday will close Lilac Street from 25th to 26th streets today and from 24th to 26th streets Sunday, transit officials said.

Also today, a bicycle festival from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. will close Capp Street between 16th and 17th streets.

Additional events Sunday will also close streets and affect Muni lines, officials said.

The Up Your Alley Street Fair from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday will close Folsom Street between Ninth and 11th streets, 10th Street between Howard and Harrison streets, Dore Street between Howard and Folsom streets and the intersection of 10th and Folsom streets from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The fair will affect the 9 San Bruno, 12 Folsom, 19 Polk, 27 Bryant and 47 Van Ness Muni lines, transit officials said.

Also on Sunday, the Grove Street Farmer's Market from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. will close Grove Street between Divisadero and Broderick streets, transit officials said.
