The northbound SUV careened into Sam Adato's Drum Shop at 283 Ninth St. around 10:45 a.m., according to Mark Abbott, an employee at the drum store.
Police were not available to provide details on how the crash happened.
Abbott said no one was injured but that the female driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital and appeared to be in shock.
Antique drums - some the most valuable equipment in the 15-year-old store - were crushed in the crash, according to Abbott. The store is now closed for repairs.
"We will be back," Abbott said.
