Junk mail contributes to climate change

Junk mail may be more than annoying. A new study syas it is actually contributing to climate change.

Americans receive about 100 billion pieces of unwanted mail every year. The environmental group Forest Ethics says producing all that mail causes a lot of pollution - as much as nine million cars a year.

And since most people do not want the mail, it is not worth the pollution it creates.
