Shortly before 2 a.m. today police received a report of a large fight, possibly with shots fired, at 2471 Lone Tree Way, police said. When officers arrived, they found a large crowd in a lot, but no victims.
A short time later, however, police received a call from Sutter Delta reporting that a gunshot victim had been brought to the hospital's emergency room in a private vehicle.
Police talked to the victim and other people at the hospital and determined that the victim had been shot at 2471 Lone Tree Way, police said.
The victim, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, was determined to be in serious condition and was transported to John Muir Medical Center's trauma center in Walnut Creek.
