Even though the Caltrain station in San Bruno has reopened to passengers, part of its parking lot remains taped off as a crime scene. Investigators have outlined the area where a woman was found shot, but they're not done looking for evidence.
San Bruno police say that at 9:43 Monday night, a passerby reported seeing a woman lying in the parking lot.
Police found the woman unresponsive, suffering a gunshot wound to her head. She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for care.
Later in the night, officers arrested a suspect, 48-year-old Christopher Sorro. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail on an attempted murder charge.
