Yue Mai was found at about 8:40 a.m. Tuesday in the mall at 15555 E. 14th St. in San Leandro, according to the coroner's bureau.
Mai had last been seen on Aug. 17, when she left her home in the 200 block of 28th Street to take an Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District bus to Oakland's Chinatown, Oakland police spokesman Jeff Thomason said.
She was suffering from the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease, according to police.
Authorities have not yet determined a cause of death, according to the coroner's bureau.
