About Suzy Gershman:
Suzy Gershman is an author, journalist and self-proclaimed Shopping Goddess. Best known for her Born to Shop series of travel guide books, Gershman also writes magazine articles and memoir, the most current of which - C'est la Vie - is available in a Penguin Paperback. Her book Where to Buy the Best of Everything was just published in mid-April.

Gershman was widowed in 2000 and moved to Paris, France where she lived for seven years. She sold her flat in Paris to re-locate part time in San Antonio, Texas, her childhood home, and part-time in San Diego, California. Suzy spends summers at her home in Provence and continues to travel: researching the Born to Shop guides, leading Born to Shop tours and working on revisions for Where to buy the Best of Everything, which will be updated every other year.

Gershman often travels with her miniature long hair dachshunds, Toffee and Junior.
