Earmark money, easier than you think

For the past few weeks we have been hearing about government earmarks and bailouts. And you might be wondering how you can get in on this gravy train. Well, you've come to the right place.

An internet based government money clock counts down federal spending on loans and grants. It's been put on the internet by Matthew Lesko. He's the infomercial guy. He was into earmarks and bailouts before earmarks and bailouts were cool.

Michael Finney: "You are the king of earmarks."

Lesko: "Absolutely. What I found out is that they are not all the stuff we read about in papers and stuff like that. They are much more than that. They are actually for the average person."

Lesko says there is earmark money available if you see a community need, especially if you see the need now.

"It is going to take years and years for this stuff to go away, and when people think it is gone away, that's when the bigger opportunity is. So, if you have a little nonprofit or want to start a little nonprofit, call your congressman's office about earmarks. They will explain the process to you and you may get it."

Lesko has a subscription database. If you need money to start a business or to go back to school, you might find programs you quality for at www.governmentmoneyclub.com.
