The body of a bald man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 30 to 50 years old, with blue tennis shoes and burgundy shorts was discovered at about 2:50 p.m. Saturday by a couple walking on the beach between 12000 and 13000 Cabrillo Highway south of Half Moon Bay, sheriff's Lt. Ray Lunny reported.
There was no identification on the body and no initial evidence of foul play, Lunny said.
