The product is made by a company called G.N. Netcom. It is the GN 91-20 Wireless Headset and more than half a million have been recalled.
The consumer product safety commission has received 47 reports of overheating, including six reports of fire and one report of second degree burns.
The headset is used in offices and call centers across the country.
If you have one, you should stop using it immediately and contact G.N. Netcom for a replacement battery.
