San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom unveiled his own local economic stimulus plan.

The proposal calls for speeding up work on large capital projects like rebuilding the Transbay Terminal and the Hall of Justice.

The mayor also wants to fast-track the renovation of terminal two at SFO to serve discount airlines, like locally-based Virgin America.

A delegation of city officials plans to visit china next month. They want to establish a China desk that will help lure business to San Francisco.
