Oakland investigates 3 robberies

Oakland police are investigating three separate robberies that took place over four and a half hours Wednesday night.

The first robbery was reported at about 6:05 p.m. in the 400 block of 17th Street when a male suspect robbed a victim at gunpoint, according to police.

Another robbery occurred at about 8:30 p.m. in the 650 block of 14th Street, police said. A male suspect robbed a female victim at gunpoint, taking her purse and fleeing on foot, according to police.

The third robbery was reported at about 10:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of E. 19th Street involving two male suspects, including one armed with a pistol, police said.

No injuries were reported in any of the robberies, and no arrests have been made.
