Two wounded in Pajaro drive-by shooting

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA

A black sedan carrying four juveniles, approximately 16 to 18-years-old, began shooting into another vehicle driving on Salinas Road in the community of Pajaro in unincorporated Monterey County at around 1:30 p.m., according to the Monterey County Sheriff's Office.

Officers arriving on the scene found the victims in their car that had crashed into a ditch near the junction of Salinas and Elkhorn Roads on Pajaro.

Two passengers were wounded several times in the arms and shoulders, the sheriff's office said.

The victims reported that two of the suspect sedan's passengers allegedly used a small caliber handgun or revolver in the attack.

No arrests have been made at this time.
