Jonathan Brunson was shot in the torso around 8:30 p.m. and was taken to a local hospital where he died, Sgt. Kevin Bartlett said.
It was the second shooting in Vallejo Tuesday and the city's 12th homicide this year.
Charles Lee Foreman Jr. was shot in the torso in an apartment in the 100 block of Maher Court around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday.
In both shootings, the suspects were two males and the motive appears to have been robbery, Bartlett said.
Detective Les Bottomley said Foreman was out of surgery and was in critical condition at a local hospital Tuesday evening.
