Toy lead testing in Oakland

7 On Your Side first told you last week that the Center for Environmental Health and other groups surveyed 1,500 toys and found 20 percent had detectable levels of lead. New federal regulations will ban the sale of many of those toys, but not until February.

"As a parent that doesn't make any sense to me," said Michael Green, from the Center for Environmental Health.

The center is holding "Safe Santa" events where you can bring toys for testing and there are several more testing days in December. Below you'll find the full list of times and locations.
