Search on for San Jose stabbing suspect

San Jose police are investigating two unrelated stabbings that occurred within about two hours of each other in the eastern part of the city Saturday morning.

The first incident was reported shortly after midnight near the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Balboa Avenue, according to police.

Another stabbing was reported at about 2:10 a.m. near the intersection of Story Road and Hopkins Drive.

The man stabbed in the second incident received wounds that are not believed to be life threatening, as did the victim of the first stabbing.

No arrests have been made in either case, and no suspect information was immediately available.
