Local Obama campaign volunteers recognized

Volunteers with Barack Obama's presidential campaign got together across the nation Saturday to recognize their achievements and plan for the future.

The local group in San Francisco contributed ideas to help guide the network of Obama volunteers.

They call themselves the Community Action Network (CAN).

"I'm here today because I really want to make a difference and I want to include more and more people here. So, I really feel like every meeting I come I'm going to bring an extra person," said Jackie Morfin.

CAN plans to hold meeting regularly across the nation. In San Francisco they will be held the first Saturday of every month.
