2.1 quake strikes near Geysers

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.1 struck Saturday morning in Sonoma County.

According to the USGS, the earthquake struck at about 3:25 a.m. and had a depth of 1.4 miles. The quake was centered 2 miles north-northwest of the Geysers and 10 miles east of Cloverdale.
