Hells Angels collect thousands of toys

SAN FRANCISCO

Members of the motorcycle club ended a benefit ride at World Gym in San Francisco Monday morning. The bikers brought thousands of toys with them, easily out-collecting their partners and competitors on the staff at the gym.

"The Hell's Angels outdid us. They got a whole truckload of toys. So they outdid us five to one. So next year the competition is on. We'll have to see," said Joe Talmadge of World Gym.

The toys will be distributed throughout the San Francisco Fire Department's toy program which first began in 1949. But it has struggled this year, so they will be accepting through tomorrow.

New toys, without gift wrapping, can be dropped off at any fire station in the city.
