The fire was reported at about 3:50 a.m. at a home at 18 West Court, according to a fire dispatcher, who said the fire was under control by about 5:30 a.m.
The blaze caused more than $1 million in damages while destroying the structure, the dispatcher said.
The victim was sent to a local hospital with burns, according to the dispatcher, who did not know the extent of the injuries.
The fire brought seven engines to the scene, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, the dispatcher said.
