SF Police searching for ski-mask robbers

SAN FRANCISCO

Up to three suspects have been robbing people as they pull up to their home, demand the person's money and then enter the house through the garage, according to the Police Department.

In two of at least six incidents since December, the victims were pistol-whipped with a black handgun, police said.

Police are urging residents to take extreme precaution when they are entering or leaving their homes.

Two of the suspects have only been described as black men; one who is about 5 feet 10 inches and "chubby," and the other who is about 6 feet 2 inches and "thin," police said.

Anyone with information or who might have been a victim is urged to call the San Francisco Police Department's robbery detail at (415) 553-1201.

In addition to the home robberies, police have also been investigating several hold-up style robberies since Thursday where the robber has a weapon and demands money from a victim walking on the street.
