Tavern owner investigated after teen death

PETALUMA, CA

The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office says 56-year-old rancher and video producer Albert Terribilini hosted a boisterous New Year's Eve party at his renovated barn in rural Petaluma.

Francisco Martinez was struck by a passing car when he stumbled drunk into the street.

It's not known whether the Carpe Diem High School graduate attended the barn party. Terribilini told police his party got out of hand after hundreds of uninvited guests tried to crash his party.

Alcohol regulators are also questioning whether Terribilini was running an illegal nightclub.
