CalTrans project delays HW1 traffic

SANTA CRUZ, CA

Alternating lane closures on Pacific Coast Highway within the city of Santa Cruz could cause delays of up to 10 minutes on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The delays are expected from the highway's intersection with Almar Avenue and Youngblood Street to its intersection with Fair Avenue, according to Caltrans.

Crews will be installing a new sidewalk, curb and gutter as well updating traffic signals along that portion of the coastal route, Caltrans reported.

For traffic updates on other state highway projects in Santa Cruz County, the public can call Caltrans District 5 Public Affairs at (831) 423-0396.
