San Andreas Trail closes to repair pipe

MILLBRAE, CA The leaking pipe, which is owned and operated by the San Francisco Water Department, runs under the trail. The trail is closed from San Bruno Avenue to Larkspur Drive. Access gates to the trail at San Bruno Avenue, Skyline Boulevard and Larkspur Drive will be closed until Feb. 7, Moore said. The San Andreas Trail will be open south of Larkspur Avenue, according to Moore. The trail connects with Sawyer Camp Trail at Hillcrest Boulevard. Sawyer Camp Trail extends to Crystal Springs Road and will remain open while the pipe is fixed, except for Jan. 14 when that trail will be closed for maintenance, Moore said.
