The motorcyclist was in the slow lane headed north on Bayshore Boulevard just south of Industrial Street around 7:30 a.m. when he tipped over and fell underneath the bus, which was in the fast lane, CHP Officer Shawn Chase said.
The bus ran over the motorcyclist's head, Chase said. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead almost immediately.
Four children and the driver were on the bus, but no one reported injuries, Chase said.
