2 injured in Diamond Heights fire

SAN FRANCISCO

Firefighters responded to a fully involved fire at two-story home at 328 Gold Mine Drive at about 5:50 a.m., fire Lt. Mindy Talmadge said.

Flames in a second-story window were visible to first responders, Talmadge said.

Two people were injured and transported to an area hospital, Talmadge said, one to be treated for smoke inhalation and one for burns.

The fire was controlled by about 6:40, Talmadge said.

Investigating crews remained at the home at 7:10 a.m.
