The International Ballroom & Latin Dance Spectacular, "Burn the Floor"
Years before "Dancing with the Stars" turned Ballroom dancing into must-see TV, one sizzling show was setting stages ablaze around the globe. The electrifying Burn the Floor, with its breathtaking blend of Latin and Ballroom dance that has thrilled more than 3 million people in more than 30 countries worldwide, will make its Bay Area premiere in a limited six-week engagement.

Burn the Floor is a breathtaking blend of Latin and Ballroom dance that takes audiences on a toe-tapping journey through the passionate drama of dance. The elegance of the Viennese Waltz, the exuberance of the Jive, the intensity of the Paso Doble - audiences will experience them all, not to mention the Tango, Samba, Mambo, Quickstep, Swing. It's Ballroom dance with a sexy 21st century edge.

The troupe of 16 award-winning dancers, two percussionists and two vocalists hail from around the globe-U.S., Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Russia, Australia, Sweden, the Philippines-and include Australian Ballroom dance champions and World Latin American champions. The dancers, who hold more than 100 championship dance titles amongst them, move to the vision of artistic director and choreographer Jason Gilkison, whose work recently thrilled audiences on season four of So You Think You Can Dance and will soon be featured on NBC's upcoming series Superstars of Dance.
