Teenage girls boy in attempted robbery

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA

The assault occurred at about 5 p.m. in the 10 block of Amberwood Circle, according to police.

One of the suspects allegedly punched the victim several times in the head while trying to steal his T-Mobile Sidekick mobile device, police said.

The victim fell to the ground, sustaining minor cuts and scrapes, according to police, who said the suspects fled the area on foot and were last seen running west on West Orange Avenue.

One suspect is described as a white girl who is about 14 or 15 years old and has black or brown hair in a ponytail. She is about 5 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build, and was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket, police said.

The other suspect is described as a white girl who is about 15 years old and has curly, black shoulder-length hair. She is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and has a heavyset build, and was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket, according to police.
